Trust is the whole point of EveryYearMatters. This page explains who tells our stories, how we make money, and what we will always tell you.
Our AI-generated cast
Stories told by our AI-generated cast. Research checked by humans.
On Instagram and Facebook, our stories are told by recurring AI-generated characters. They are not real people. They do not depict any real, identifiable person, and they are not licensed professionals. They explain research and practical steps and point you to real professionals. Where a platform asks for it, we apply its AI-generated label.
- Dana, 52 (our AI character): the daughter. Tells the caregiver side: work, kids and a mom who needs more help.
- Nurse Rosa, 58 (our AI character): the geriatric care nurse persona. Explains care tasks like discharge, medications and falls.
- Marcus, 46 (our AI character): the senior-living advisor persona. Walks through tour questions, costs and red flags.
- Ellen, 61 (our AI character): the money and legal explainer. Covers paperwork basics and always says it is not legal advice.
- Walt, 79 (our AI character): Dad. The parent's point of view: independence, pride and what he wants his kids to know.
Stories told by the cast are illustrative. We do not publish invented testimonials, reviews, case studies or "real stories".
How EveryYearMatters makes money
- Guides. Free guides are free. The Complete Parent Care Library costs $19 on the page right after you sign up, and $29 anywhere else.
- Future products. We plan to add a paid personalized planning report and a membership. We will always show the price before you pay.
- Affiliate links (not yet active). If we recommend a product through an affiliate link, we will say so right next to the recommendation, for example: "Affiliate link: we earn a commission at no cost to you." We only recommend products we have researched.
- Sponsors (not yet active). Sponsored content will be clearly labeled as sponsored, separate from our editorial content.
What we do not do
- We are not paid by senior living communities for referrals or placements.
- We do not rank or recommend any community or service because it pays us.
- If we ever add paid referral partnerships, we will disclose how we are paid on every page and email where a referral link appears, and follow state rules for referral agencies. [VERIFY state rules before launch]
Corrections
